Beechgrove Convenience Center to Close July 17-18 for Concrete Work

By. Alexis Hill, Intern

Residents who use the Beechgrove Convenience Center for household trash disposal will need to make alternate plans this weekend as the facility temporarily closes for maintenance.

According to the Coffee County Rural Solid Waste Department, the Beechgrove Convenience Center will be closed Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, while crews complete concrete work at the site.

The temporary closure only affects the Beechgrove location. The department expects the convenience center to reopen on Sunday, July 19, and resume normal operations.

Coffee County officials appreciate the public’s patience while the improvements are completed and encourage residents to plan their waste disposal accordingly during the two-day closure.
