Coffee County Sheriff’s Department Investigating Theft Case Involving Kaleidoscope Photography

By Katie Northcott, News Director

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department is asking for information from citizens of Coffee County who have lost money to Kaleidoscope Photography, a business run by Shauna Holland.

The department made a statement on its Facebook page on Monday, Jan. 9 asking that affected citizens reach out to Chief Investigator Brandon Reed by emailing breed@coffeecountytn.gov, calling 931-570-4191, or visiting 76 County Jail Lane in Manchester.

According to the post, the company “has failed to provide money or photos as far as Georgia and Alabama.” Reed can only investigate if the situation involves Coffee County residents or photos taken in Coffee County.

Most of the photos taken by Holland were sports related. She took pictures for Manchester Baseball & Softball, and it appears she has never edited and turned over the photos.

Holland posted the following update to her Facebook page “Kaleidoscope Photography by Shauna” on July 12, 2025. The page has had no new posts since July 13, 2025.

Here is the current order of turnaround: once each session is complete, they will be mailed directly to my point of contact. I want to reassure you that everyone will still be receiving their photos—that has never changed. In fact, I’ve already paid out of pocket for portions of the editing to keep things moving, even when it’s been a financial strain.

Please know, nothing I say can undo the delay, and I wish more than anything that I could just hand you your finished images today. I genuinely want this wrapped up and back in your hands just as much, if not more, than you do.

That said, I’ve been navigating some very personal challenges behind the scenes. My health is still not good, and I’ve recently had to relocate and begin a new job. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to see doctors until my new health insurance kicks in. And to be honest, that’s just the beginning of what’s been going on.

I want to be completely honest with you, because you deserve transparency.

Right now, I’m doing everything in my power to get your photos back to you, and I know many of you are frustrated, concerned, and just wanting updates. I understand that. But I need to say, with genuine humility and sincerity, that the constant influx of emails, texts, and phone calls is becoming overwhelming. It’s having a serious impact on my mental health, and truthfully, it’s adding a level of anxiety and emotional strain that’s becoming too much to bear, especially while I’m already navigating health issues and life changes.

Please know that I’m not ignoring anyone, and I see and hear your concerns. But I kindly ask for your patience and understanding while I work as quickly and thoroughly as I can. I haven’t stopped caring. I haven’t given up. And I haven’t forgotten about any of you. I simply need space to breathe, to stay healthy and focus so I can actually finish what I’ve promised you…with the quality you deserve.

I’m not saying this for sympathy. I’m sharing it so you understand this delay isn’t from carelessness or lack of effort. I’m doing everything I can to fulfill what I promised, and I appreciate those of you who’ve continued to show grace and compassion through it.

I’m working to make this right. Thank you for reading this and for giving me the grace I truly need in this difficult season. It means more than I can say. – Shauna
