Eleanor M. Roper, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, June 28th, 2026 at her home at the age of 88. Mrs. Roper was born in Hillsboro to the late Charles E. Elkins and Ardine Estelle Thurman Elkins. During her life, she and her husband we the owners of Roper’s Lawn & Garden Equipment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roper. Mrs. Roper is survived by one daughter, Rena (Danny) Farrar of Manchester; two sons, Steve (Mary) Roper of Tullahoma, and David Roper of Clearwater, Florida; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Per her wishes, no public services are being planned at this time.
