After a successful revival in 2025, Farm City Day is back again on May 2nd, 2026, at the Coffee County Fairgrounds, promising another day filled with fun, education, and community connection. This event, which originally began in 1991, has been a staple in the Coffee County community, enlightening attendees about the wonders of agriculture while providing a platform for local organizations.

Organized by a committee including UT/TSU Extension, Farm Bureau Directors and Women’s Committee, Young Farmers & Ranchers, Coffee County Soil and Water Conservation District, 4-H, FFA, and the Coffee County Fair Board, this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than before.

Key highlights this year include the much-anticipated return of traditional favorites, such as educational exhibits featuring farm animals, wildlife, and farming equipment. New attractions include interactive demonstrations, the popular “Are you stronger than a Farmer?” challenge, inflatables, and the innovative Mobile Ag Classroom, which offers a hands-on learning experience.

“We’re excited to introduce even more interactive elements and educational opportunities this year,” said Amy Willis Prince, Farm City Day Committee Chair. “Farm City Day is about connecting our community with the vital role agriculture plays in our lives while ensuring a fun- filled day for everyone.”

Food trucks will be on site for snack purchases.
