On Friday, March 20, the Hands-On Science Center in Tullahoma announced that it will hold a volunteer day on April 11.

The Hands-On Science Center (HOSC) invites community members to roll up their sleeves and make a difference during its upcoming Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Hands-On Science Center, located at 101 Mitchell Blvd., Tullahoma, TN, and lunch will be provided for all participants.
Volunteers are needed to assist with landscaping and grounds clean-up efforts, helping ensure the Center remains a welcoming and inspiring environment for visitors of all ages. Individuals, families, student groups, and organizations are encouraged to participate.
The Hands-On Science Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving as a regional learning hub. Its mission is to provide a space that stimulates an interest in, understanding of, and appreciation for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education—particularly among children in their formative years, as well as their parents and teachers.
From interactive exhibits to engaging educational programs, HOSC inspires curiosity and discovery, encouraging visitors to explore the wonders of STEM in a fun and meaningful way.

No prior experience is necessary to participate—just a willingness to help and a positive attitude. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work.
