Jerry Presley

Presley

Jerry Wayne Presley, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2026, at his home in Manchester, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Sparta, Tennessee, on January 5, 1951, Jerry was the son of the late Luther and Leona Presley. Alongside his parents, Jerry was reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Alexander Presley, who passed away just months shy of their 55th wedding anniversary.

Known across the community for his work in plumbing, electrical, and septic systems, Jerry turned his life’s work into his true passion. To Jerry, working wasn’t just a career—it was his favorite hobby and how he loved spending his time. When he wasn’t helping neighbors or staying busy on a job, he enjoyed relaxing with classic westerns and riding his tractor to tend to his lawn. Above all, his family will deeply miss his tall tales, quick humor, and the endless stories he shared about his life.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Presley Jr.; his daughter, Connie Ann Presley Rose; four sisters and two brothers; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, including nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and close friends.
