On Thursday, April 2, the Manchester Police Department (MPD) recognized Sergeant Jon Holland as Officer of the Quarter for January 2026 through March 2026.
MPD made the announcement in a Facebook post, which is copied below.
It is my pleasure to recognize Sergeant Jon Holland as the Officer of the Quarter for January through March 2026.
Throughout this quarter, Sgt. Holland demonstrated exemplary leadership and a steadfast commitment to teamwork. He went above and beyond his regular duties by dedicating significant time and effort to the patrol fleet, including building and installing all Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) stands and assisting with the decommissioning of multiple patrol vehicles by uninstalling equipment. His efforts were critical in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and readiness of our operations.
Sergeant Holland’s willingness to step in wherever needed—without hesitation—reflects the professionalism, reliability, and team‑focused mindset we strive for at the Manchester Police Department. His dedication and positive example do not go unnoticed and are sincerely appreciated.
Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Holland on this well‑deserved recognition and thanking him for his continued commitment to our department and to one another.
