Six Bedford County Schools received a level five school status on the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS) and TN Ready state assessments for the 2024-2025 school year.
The results are based on the spring semester’s Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) scores and end-of-course state testing. Level five represents the highest rating of student academic growth.
The six schools that earned fives are Cartwright Elementary School, East Side Elementary School, Cascade Middle School, Cascade High School, Community High School, and Shelbyville Central High School.
“This is one important piece of the accountability puzzle that reflects the hard work of our students, teachers, and school leaders,” Bedford County Schools said in a Facebook post.
