Susan Marie Amy, 73, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away on August 27, 2026.
Susan was born on May 16, 1953, in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, to Robert Amy and Martha Jeanne Naddeo.
Susan was a retired production technician at Nissan. She had a heart of gold, though those who knew her best would probably agree that she was a little like a Sour Patch Kid—sometimes sour, always sweet, and completely unforgettable.
She loved her family with all her heart and found joy in the simple things in life: flowers and plants, watching hummingbirds, keeping up with the news, and spending time with her beloved dog, Snoopy, as well as the many family pets she loved—especially Richard the big orange cat.
Susan also had a few things she was famously committed to. Potatoes and Sprite were practically daily staples, and she would not have had it any other way.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Cornell and Allison Cornell; her grandchildren, Ryan McCurry, Madelynne Metheney, Alexa Cornell, Camron Hulsey, Jai-lynn Hulsey, and Lilly Hulsey; and her sister, Christmas Carol Green.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Amy and Martha Jeanne Naddeo, and her sister, Kim Damico.
A private family viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Flowers may be sent to Tullahoma Funeral Home in Susan’s memory.
Susan will be remembered for her heart of gold, her love for her family, her unique personality, and the laughter and memories she leaves behind. She was one of a kind, and anyone fortunate enough to know her will surely miss her.
