“The Tennessee State Health Department has made funding available to support primary care in our county’s new health department facility. A full time MD will be available at this facility after construction is completed later this summer. Ami Mitchell, South Central Regional Director and Aracely Costello, Coffee County Director, sat down with County Mayor Dennis Hunt to reveal this exciting news. Details for this new program will be made available when appropriate. Healthcare for Coffee County residents just received a positive “shot in the arm” with this announcement.”
Costello said that there is an individual currently working for the State Health Department who is interested in filling the full time MD position at the Coffee County Health Department.
