Tullahoma BOMA Appoints Interim City Administrator

By Katie Northcott, News Director

At its meeting on Monday, March 9, the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) voted unanimously to appoint Jeff Damron as Interim City Administrator.

Damron has worked for the city as Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Deputy Director since June 2022. He was the only person nominated for the position at the meeting. Alderman Jerry Mathis nominated Damron, and his nomination was seconded by Alderman Kurt Glick.

The BOMA discussed restricting the Interim City Administrator from hiring employees, firing employees, or giving pay increases.
