Tullahoma Swim Club earned its third win of the summer league season on Thursday, traveling to challenge the Fayetteville Area Swim Team.
Tullahoma brought 43 swimmers to the meet on Monday, June 15, and scratched out a 283 to 275 win. Over 100 swimmers participated in the meet.
Swim meets are scored based on how swimmers place. First place takes five points, second place takes three points, and third place takes one point. A first-place relay team scores seven points while a second-place relay scores three. Swimmers may enter a maximum of three individual events and two relay events.
Tullahoma’s top scorers were Sloane Sturgill, Grady Sturgill, and Jaden Gipson. All three swimmers won three individual events, scoring 15 points each.
Sloane Sturgill (11 years old) competed in the Girls 11-12 category, Grady Sturgill (13) in the Boys 13-14, and Gipson (17) in the Boys 15 & Over.
Tullahoma Swim Club will host Athens Swim Team on Thursday, June 18.
