In Manchester, Lemonade Day 2026 raised $43,356.48 for local nonprofit organizations.
On Thursday, May 14, the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce partnered with Coffee County Schools and Manchester City Schools to teach entrepreneurship to elementary school students and raise money for local non profits.
Students sold lemonade from 33 locations. The event saw participation from 450 elementary school students. Coffee County Central High School’s Student Government Association joined in the fun. Student government reps took over the Chamber’s social media to promote the event with live videos throughout the day.
Each of the eight elementary schools participating in the event chose a local nonprofit to benefit from the proceeds of its students’ sales. Each school had a unique cup, and customers were encouraged to collect every cup.
